Anyone who grew up in New York City is familiar with forties and malt liquor in general. Most of us were weened on the stuff in high school, sitting on stoops with our brown paper bags and hoping the person walking down the street didn’t live there. But you never see TV spots for forties, do you? I remember there was an old one with Billy Dee Williams for Colt 45, but that’s it. You do see quite a few in the subways though. Hurricane and King Cobra have done their market research. Their prime demographic is homeless people. Homeless people do not own televisions, but they do spend an inordinate amount of time urinating off subway platforms, and drinking ghetto juice. But I decided they were ignoring the other, less legal demographic: teenagers. And here is how I plan to reach them. Thanks, St. Ides.
P.S. You need the Divx codec to play the movie.
