LA JOLLA, CALIFORNIA - Scientists at the Salk Institute announced today that they have successfully altered a mouse to run farther and faster than average, less exciting mice. This breakthrough finally makes it feasible to generate electricity with Mouse Power. By placing mice into an array of mouse wheels, a small army of mice could power anything from toasters to 40 watt light bulbs. “This is a great day for alternate energy sources,” said lead scientist Ronald Evans. This also comes as a boon for the struggling rodent exercise equipment market, which still has not recovered from the surge in popularity actual, sanitary pets.
