That is patently untrue. I’ve done that a few times, and I’ve seen other people do it too. So perhaps California invented it and you saw a Californian do it and subconciously decided to start doing it under the assumption that you were being original.
But if I see Ashton Kutcher doing it, I’ll assume he stole it from you anyway, just like he stole Demi from you.
