HOLLYWOOD, CA - Dean Haglund, who played recurring character Ringo Langly on the X-Files, has taken on the new scrotal warming crisis. The C-list actor, star of such dubious “films” as Dangerous Indiscretion, and Mask of Death has invented a pad to insulate one’s nether regions from the harmful heat generated by laptops.
As reported earlier, scrotal warming is a growing problem in the world. With over 100 million people, at least half of them men, using laptops on their laps on a regular basis, average scrotal temperature has risen over 2 degrees worldwide.
“The Chill Pak draws heat away from your computer,” says the actor turned inventor. “It’ll keep it colder than my second wife,” he may have added after the interview ended.
Made from a material that “won’t allow condensation,” one won�t have to field comments about a wet spot on the crotch.
It remains to be seen whether Haglund will bring his acting talents to bear on the products marketing campaign. He declined to comment on the possibility of a late night infomercial.
