While this site seems very British, it’s a cool idea that transcends national borders. Pledgebank lets you post a suggestion of something you’ll do, but only if a certain number of other people do it, too. That way you won’t feel like a sucker being the only person wearing a Member’s Only jacket shopping with a cloth bag instead of a plastic one.
This site deals mainly with charity donations, reducing and reusing trash, and basically making the world a better place. Who knows, maybe it’ll be the next Craigslist, but less anonymous.
I’d still like to see a post that said: “I’ll jump of a bridge if 20 of my friends do it.”
