If you’re like me, you probably whiled away the hours in “language arts” and “social studies” by doodling stick figures doing acrobatics all over the purple paragraphs on mimeographed handouts. A stick figure could be anything from a baseball player to a barbarian, simply by adding a brim to his head or a bastard sword to his hand. They’re universal because spastic 4 year olds and high school dropouts alike draw them exactly the same.
Well the internet provided new opportunities for stick figure expression. Wanted to make a RPG but cant draw goblins? Use stick figures and make a Stick RPG. Wanted to film a fight sequence but couldn’t hire actors? Use stick figures and butcher them mercilessly. Have an idea so bizarre it can only be realized with stick figures? Use, er, stick figures.
