Flickr just released a new feature called interestingness, and I say without hyperbole that it is the coolest thing ever. It’s an algorithm that analyzes the activity around every picture on the site, including views, comments, and number of times someone called it a “favorite”. You can see the 500 most interesting pictures for any day since the site went up last year. Our friend John Basedow vs. The Tsunami is coming in at number 113 right now for January 7. Pick a date, any date, and you’ll be immersed in a bevy of amazing pictures. I garontee!
