I attended decentcontent’s Blogmukkah 2005 this past Saturday at Lucky Jack’s at the behest of one Yusuke Toyada. I can’t think of a better place to meet people, whose writing is the sole reason you know them, than a pitch black basement lit with 3-watt bulbs. I showed up with Larry, but quickly lost sight of him in the darkness. I almost missed the prodigal daughter herself, Leslie from Hermitude NYC, before she jetted.
After actually meeting a few bloggers, Fat Asian Baby, The Daily Dump, I realized that I don’t actually read any blogs besides my own. I also don’t share the fanatic “post everyday” or the “well this journalism degree must be good for something” mentalities. But like anything else, blogging is all about who you know. And now I can say I know a few more people behind the blog, or at least that person’s shadowy visage.
Oh, and before I forget, the Dell Dude was in attendance. Dude!
