Prehistoric Jungle Fever

If proponents of intelligent design didn’t have enough reason to despise the implications of evolution, namely that we used to be apes millions of years ago, here’s another kick in the junk. From the article:

A US team says its results hint at the possibility that interbreeding occurred between the two lines [chimps and humans] for thousands, even millions, of years.

We used to do it with apes, too! For millions of years! We’ve barely had recorded history for half an eon, but we laid with chimps for two orders of magnitude more than that.

They go on to say it’s not proven, that it’s just a theory. The fossil record shows a split between humans and chimps 2 million years or so before our DNA branched off. So the in between time indicates that we, chimps and humans, still consorted.

Just more to show that evolution is a fact. Our lineage alone shows that!
