NEW YORK, NY - It used to be that you had to go all the way to Brooklyn for delicious free pizza with each and every beer you purchased. No longer. The bankrupty-defying business plan behind the Alligator Lounge and Capone’s is coming to Manhattan as the Crocodile Lounge.
Directly across the river from Williamsburg(h), where the other two bars are located, the Crocodile Lounge is setting up shop on 14th street between 1st and 2nd Avenue, where Cellar used to be. No word yet on when it’s opening, just that it can’t be soon enough.
You no longer have to worry about leaving the bar to find a slice of pizza to prevent alcohol poisoning. You can simply stay and munch on a fresh-from-the-oven 8-inch pizza. You won’t be able to accidentally drink on an empty stomach at thisplace.
Hopefully, other Manhattan based bars follow suit. Maybe the KFC on the corner will start serving free beer with every purchase of Coloneol’s Crispy Strips®. Or at least shots of Jack.
