You know what just dawned on me? The sacred acronym, ROYGBIV, which has been instilled in us in every art and crafts class we ever took, be it in school or summer camp, that defines a kindergartener’s self worth until he can tie his own shoelaces, IS A DAMNED LIE!!! Indigo, or I in this case, comes after B and before V, which gives the false impression that inddigo is somehow created by mixing blue and violet. As this image clearly demonstrates (ignore the color healing mumbo jumbo, I’m trying to make a point here) indigo is in actuality a mix between green and blue, very similar to teal and aqua. Why is this lie being propogated in schools? Is it simply for the sake of spelling? Roy G. Biv must be rolling around in his grave, after laughing his way to the bank. Close, but no cigar, Roy. How many textbooks need to be revised? Why does google only return 2 matches to the correct spelling, ROYGIBV? Will this page be shut down for exposing the truth? Too many questions!
